Liu, with three other authors, wrote a 15-chapter book that wrestles with some of the deepest generational issues of depression, lack of purpose, relationships, and others. In two weeks of being published on Amazon, the book is number one in its category, and 20% of sales will be donated to UNICEF to support global education programs.

He started his ascent by becoming the Teacher of the Year at Burroughs High School, then the BUSD, and then the Teacher of the year in Los Angeles County. He and four others in the state represent California, including the TOY from the Bay Area who moves onto the National Teacher of the Year competition to represent California. The California Teacher of the Year representative was chosen by State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond.

The disease is a a bile duct cancer that is rare for adults, and nearly unheard of for children, so the parents are hoping what can be learned from the treatment of Christopher will help future cases because a lot of what is being done for him is designed for adults.

Kevin "Brandino" Brandon is the Grammy nominated producer, composer, arranger and bassist for the album Singularity, by Robby Krieger, which was nominated for Best Pop Instrumental Album of the Year for the 2011 Grammy Awards in his Burbank home on Tuesday, January 25, 2011. Brandino has won numerous Grammy's helping bands like Outkast, Justin Timberlake, and Luther Vandross. He is playing his Eastman String Co., 5-string 7/8 orchestra bass.
